Adam & EMMA Engagement

Some shoots stay with you—and this one with Adam and Emma at Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens in Sherbrooke is definitely one of them.

Nestled among the towering trees of the Dandenong Ranges, this location is truly something special. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and take in the beauty around you—and it couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for Adam and Emma’s engagement session.

We wandered through about 1.4km of winding paths, half of which were uphill. Let’s just say they handled it with grace, while I was seriously questioning my cardio fitness. But every step was worth it. From the golden leaves underfoot to the still reflections in the lake near the boathouse, the gardens were showing off, and these two brought the romance.

Adam and Emma have this effortless connection that made photographing them a joy. Whether they were laughing, hugging, or just walking hand in hand, everything felt natural and real—exactly the kind of moments I love to capture.

I’m so excited to photograph their wedding this December 2025. If their engagement shoot is anything to go by, it’s going to be full of laughter, love, and beautiful, heartfelt memories.
